Stunning Parks & Cultural Events

The green space in Beijing is phenomenal and home to some awesome cultural experiences if you know where to look..

Head to the Temple of the Sun Park (Ritan Park) to take a long walk around the Court Dress Place, Temple Altar and Yuxin Garden. In the morning, you can also participate in free Tai Chi classes.

Another Flyavel recommended site is Zizhuyuan Park (Purple Bamboo Park), where over 50 species of bamboo grow. It is the perfect place to create Instagram stories and enjoy lush Chinese gardens.
Lastly, if you want to experience how the Chinese view plum blossoms, then head to the Wall Park of Ming Dynasty in March. More than 300 plum trees are planted along the Wall Park, and dozens of them are blossoming in sync with magnolias and marigolds.
